Art Therapy

Tuesday 21st January 2014

A 10 week block of Art Therapy with a trained art therapist, will start on the 21st of January from 2.00- 4.00pm at Dalbeattie Fire Station.

You don't have to be good at art to attend. Explore your emotions and feelings and move forward with more personal insight and awareness.

There are a couple of places left so if you are interested please telephone to book a place.

Self Management Programme

Wednesday 29th January

Six week Self Management Programme run in partnership with Arthritis Care will be held at Castle Douglas Community Centre from 10.30-12.30am.

This programme is for anyone with a long term/chronic health condition and is person-centred. It will cover topics such as:

Effective communication

Pain management

Activity and exercise

Finances and managing change

Let's Cook

Thursday 13th March

'Let's Cook' sessions will be starting in Corsock Hall in March. You will have the opportunity to make two courses which can be finished off at home. All ingredients and equipment will be provided.

This will be a small group so booking is essential.
